Queer-electro pop band, Alter Boy, is on an intersectional and inclusive mission. Three of its members are Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing and all songs are performed in Auslan. Expect shiny, dark pop with chaotic performance art and deaf/trans bodies.
Alter Boy are “the darker, more experimental spinoff of Eurovision.” – Declan Byrne, Triple J.
IMAGE DESCRIPTION: three band members leaning against one another on a smoky blue background. At the back stands a tall king in a crown and white robe, he is white and fat, his eyes are softly closed as if in prayer, his arms are raised and his hand are facing upward. Leaning against him on the right is a tired small white blonde person, shirtless with four large baby milk bottles strapped to their chest like a grenades. On the left is a stocky white butch with short hair, shirtless with top surgery scars and tattoos, and leather bib.
