Kobi won the 2018 Perth NAIDOC Youth of the Year award for his involvement in various music projects such as Moombaki, Koondarm, Koorlong, Madjitil Moorna and Endeavorous.
Music is the cornerstone of Kobi’s ideology, having been brought up listening people such as Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, John Butler and Archie Roach to name a few. They have been some of the influences that have inspired him to teach his culture through music.
