The Chevelles

It was the summer of 1989-90. The twin peaks of revivalist 60’s psychedelia and post-punk garage rock and roll had collided in Australia. Out of the West Australian surf crawled 4 long-haired boys determined to make their own special guitar noise….. The Chevelles were born.

With dozens of great big power pop releases, over 1000 live shows in sweaty clubs across the world from Australia to Europe to the US and the wild beach festivals  of Brazil… The Chevies have carried the torch of Australian Garage Rock and Roll and its now burnin’ brighter than ever. Lighting up the caves of young and old hipsters all around this spinning world.
