The Chlorines are an alternative rock band hailing from Perth Western Australia, forming in 2013. The act is the concept of singer-songwriter and guitarist, Owen de Marchi. De Marchi enlists the hand of fellow Perth musicians and friends; Brayden Edwards on guitar, Tom Freeman on bass, Renee Tucker on slide guitar and Oscar Van Gass on drums, who together, bring to life the driving and delicate sounds The Chlorines postulate. The band draws from an eclectic range of styles including punk, post punk, folk and blues, with confessional style lyricism forming the nucleus of their sound.
